according to Leister, one of the finest comments he ever received was from a client who was so impressed they declared to the designer: "No, really, it's hard to believe that the guy who painted this is still alive!". a life long fan of the Old Masters, Leister took this as a compliment.

Leister no longer accepts assignments in this style, however, if you look closely at his recent new media work you will see some evidence of his brushwork, whether in oils or in digital form.
