A committee to design a new MFA program in visualization for the Visual Arts Department, College of Arts and Media, University of Colorado Denver. Duties include research of existing visualization programs, curriculum development and developing a mission and vision for the program.

Part of an executive planning group to find a design firm to create a new web site for the College of Arts and Media. Responsibilities included the research and design feasibility of an outcome-based model web site. Duties included research and contacting local and national design firms as well as organizing the RFP.

Member of a search committee for a new Chair of Visual Arts. Duties included research, writing, interview and follow up on references.

Chair of a national committee to hire a new tenure-track Assistant Professor in Medical Illustration. Duties involved conducting research into the medical illustration field and contacting certified medical illustration programs in the US and Canada. The search was successful and the new faculty member started in August, 2009.

A committee to discuss sustainability issues at the University of Colorado Denver’s downtown campus. Responsibilities included a place for intellectual development and to house the body of knowledge developed through sustainability issues and the IGERT Program on Sustainable Urban Infrastructure.
