  This project asks you to develop a narrative about someone, some place, or some event that you think is important, such as, a family member, a significant episode in your life or these times, a community member you admire, or a place that’s changed for better or worse. Your written proposal will become the basis of your piece. Describe the person/event/place using concrete details that allow the reader to visualize, hear, smell, and sense your subject.
