- Portfolio Web Site
Claudia Chang – Investigation of Interaction and New Media
Design a portfolio web site for yourself or another artist/photographer. You may use Flash, CSS, HTML and/or a combination of all of these. The main requirement is that the site function properly, with logical navigation to multiple pages of images and that the pages be stylistically consistent, as one would expect of a portfolio site.
Additionally, the site should have a system or instructions for updating with new images/descriptions. This could be accomplished using XML integrated with Flash or this could simply be a naming convention with written instructions for how to update. The key with any artist portfolio site is that artists will want to easily update the site with new images, so considering how this can be done is important to its effectiveness.
